Michael Dudok de Wit’s Grand Atelier
«Le Grand Atelier» is a yearly masterclass dedicated to writing and directing issues in animation films, directed by a master of contemporary animation. It is an unique occasion for young creators to receive teaching from renowned artists.
In 2017, the workshop will be directed by Michael Dudok de Wit and will be focused on the creation of ambiances, backgrounds, atmospheres, and the search for beauty.
The workshop will be in English. It will take place in the Abbey of Fontevraud (France), from the 9th to the 12th of october 2017. It is for artists, illustrators, painters, whom are ideally specialized in narrative arts (i.e, animation, comic books, graphic novels, etc.) or animators with a particular interest in the creation of backgrounds.
